概要

本計画は、閉店した喫茶店を単なる用途変更として更新するのではなく、地域に開かれた滞在の場という価値を継承しながら、事務所として再編集したものである。高校時代に通ったこの場所を引き継ぎ、既存躯体を活かした改修により環境負荷を抑えつつ、時間の痕跡を空間に残した。
内部には固定席を設けず、長テーブルや段差、外部に開かれた席など多様な居場所を連続的に配置することで、作業内容や気分に応じて働く場所を選択できる構成としている。全面ガラスのファサードは内部の活動を外部へにじませ、働く行為そのものを風景の一部として位置づける。
事務所でありながら地域と緩やかにつながる関係を生み出し、滞在性を備えた新しいワークプレイスのあり方を提示する。

Overview

This project is not simply a matter of repurposing a closed coffee shop, but rather a re-edited office space that inherits the value of being a place of stay open to the community. Taking over this place, which the author frequented during high school, the renovation utilizes the existing structure to minimize environmental impact while preserving traces of time within the space.

Inside, there are no fixed seats; instead, a variety of seating areas, including long tables, tiered seating, and open seating areas, are arranged in a continuous sequence, allowing users to choose their workspace according to their work content and mood. The all-glass facade allows the activities inside to spill out, positioning the act of working itself as part of the landscape.

While being an office, it fosters a loose connection with the community, presenting a new concept for a workplace that also offers a sense of lingering.
