The current building is a complex (beach house) that is planned to be built along the Higashihama coast.
By combining multiple simple materials like a beach house, we value the texture of the material, and over time
It is a design that is completed by decaying.
The exterior wall is made of baked cedar, and a part of the north face is an RC wall tilted from the wall line to block thnorthwind
and give it a dynamic appearance.
The rafters that protrude from the building are designed to symbolize the building.
This RC wall not only serves as a design, but also serves as a support for the observation terrace and also serves as an exit line for the gallery.
Inside, there is a hall, gallery, and shower room on the first floor, and a café space and an observation terrace on the second floor.
This observation terrace overhangs the building on a slope so that you can see the sunset “orange sunset” of Higashihama.
Sunset and art to heal the fatigue of everyday life.
In this location overlooking the Quasi-National Geopark, our first priority is to become a facility that blends in with nature and is loved by the community.
It is a work of design.
